The plaintiff, who is the appellant here, alleged in her complaint that she was injured by reason of a design or manufacturing defect in a car produced and sold by the appellee, Ford Motor Co. The complaint did not allege that the defect was the cause of the automobile collision in which the appellant was injured. A question of law was thus presented as to whether the duty of a motor car manufacturing company to produce a reasonably safe vehicle extends...
