The decedent, Charles Huey, had been employed in defendant's foundry for almost 15 years when on July 22, 1958, he suffered a back injury which arose out of and in the course of his employment. Although he attempted to work a few times in early 1959, decedent never worked again, and he was paid the statutory 500 weeks of compensation at the rate in effect at the time of his injury.
