Memorandum Findings of Fact and Opinion

DRENNEN, Judge:

Respondent determined a deficiency in petitioners' income tax in the amount of $32.14 for the taxable year 1970. The sole issue for decision is whether petitioners may deduct amounts spent in that year by David C. Hakim (hereinafter referred to as petitioner) in an unsuccessful campaign for municipal office.
