This action was brought under the Civil Rights Act (42 U.S.C. § 1983) for injunctive relief and damages. The complaint alleged that at 8:00 p. m. on August 12, 1973, plaintiff and her husband were arrested in the Second Police District of the First Area of the Chicago Police Department.1 They were transferred to Second District headquarters at 5101 South Wentworth Avenue.
