This is an appeal by defendants from an order denying their motion to vacate the clerk's entry of default and the default judgment.

The record shows that the instant action was commenced on June 29, 1971, when plaintiffs, eight foreign investors, filed suit against defendant Robert Pollock and eight interlocking companies through which Pollock was doing business...
