Three individuals and two corporations were convicted upon a consolidated trial of six indictments of violations of the Oregon Subdivision Control Law1, and sentenced as misdemeanants to pay fines and abide by special conditions. They appeal. Former ORS 92.230(1), the prohibitory section of that law, provides:
