COOLAHAN, District Judge.

This is a diversity action wherein plaintiff, a New Jersey resident, sues a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Pontiac dealer (Tolkan) as well as General Motors Corporation, a Michigan corporation. Plaintiff alleges that Tolkan sold, and defendant General Motors placed in a car of its manufacture, a defective jack which injured plaintiff while he was changing a tire in his adopted State, New Jersey.
