Kristine Ambrose, a young child, was injured when she was struck by a baseball which was tossed during a game of catch between two teenage boys. Kristine together with her father and mother filed suit against the Kent Island Yacht Club, Inc. and the American Power Boat Association in the Circuit Court for Queen Anne's County; the suit was thereafter removed to Kent County.
