The appellant was convicted of first degree murder on September 14, 1969, and the jury assessed the death penalty. On December 10, 1970, we affirmed that conviction. Anderson v. State, 86 Nev. 829, 477 P.2d 595 (1970). Prior to the execution of the sentence, the United States Supreme Court filed its opinion in Furman v. Georgia, 408 U.S....
