Nine defendants were indicted in a single count indictment for conspiracy to violate divers provisions of 18 U.S.C. § 922 relating to the possession, sale and transportation of firearms. Of the nine, one has never been apprehended, five pleaded guilty, and three pleaded not guilty but were convicted in a jury trial.
