Plaintiff-appellant Anastasius Tritsis brought this action to recover damages, for the alleged violation of his rights under the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Ninth, Tenth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the federal constitution. In his complaint, Tritsis alleged that, on July 24, 1971, he was arrested, pursuant to a warrant, for illegally transferring a certain firearm in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 5861(e).
