Box, on July 24, 1974, filed his application asking this court to assume original jurisdiction under a petition for writ of mandamus to issue against the State Election Board of Oklahoma, as defendant, requiring that board to place plaintiff's name on the ballot as a candidate for the Democratic nomination as State Representative in District 91.
