Ruth Burns, appellant herein, was charged with selling obscene literature on July 6, 1973, in North Little Rock, said sales allegedly being in violation of Ark. Stat.Ann. § 41-2704 (Repl.1964). On trial by jury in the Pulaski County Circuit Court, she was convicted, and punishment fixed at a $500.00 fine.
