Plaintiff Beverly Troy is the lessee and operator of a service station owned by defendant Shell Oil Company. On April 26, 1974, she was informed that her yearly lease, which expires on May 31, 1974, will not be renewed. She subsequently filed this complaint, alleging that she was an employee of Shell within the meaning of 42 U.S.C. § 2000e(f), and was being terminated because of her sex, in violation of 42...
