The grand jury indicted Peichev on three counts: Aiding and abetting aircraft piracy [18 U.S.C. § 2; 49 U.S.C. § 1472(i)], conspiracy to commit aircraft piracy [18 U.S.C. § 371] and conspiracy to commit extortion by means of aircraft piracy [18 U.S.C. § 1951].
