In this action the Government seeks to set aside the acquisition by the defendant Falstaff Brewing Corporation (hereinafter Falstaff) of the assets of Narragansett Brewing Company (hereinafter Narragansett) on the ground that said acquisition was a violation of Section 7 of the Clayton Act, as amended, 15 U.S. C. § 18 because it eliminated substantial potential competition in the production and sale of beer in the New England...
