The Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) filed its petition in eminent domain and moved for immediate possession of property of respondent, The Order of Friars Minor of the Province of the Most Holy Name (Church). This property consisted of a church parking lot adjacent to and serving St. Elizabeth's Monastery and Church. The St. Elizabeth church building is not itself being condemned in this proceeding but has been designated as an historical site...
