On June 23, 1972, the appellant killed her husband, David Murphy, by shooting him with a .22 caliber rifle. To a charge of first degree murder she pleaded insanity. The jury, rejecting that defense, found the accused guilty of second degree murder and fixed her punishment at seven years imprisonment. Two asserted errors are argued as grounds for reversal.
