This appeal arises out of a "slip-fall" suit to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by plaintiff, Virginia McCauley, resulting from her alleged fall while shopping at the College Town Grocery in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Andrew Nicholas was the lessee of the premises and operated the store. The owner-lessor of the premises is the Estate of Peter J.
