Jefferson K. Jones and Jefferson Hooper instituted this suit against the City of Lake Charles, James E. Sudduth, mayor of that city, and Lieutenant Gerald Patrick, a member of the city Police Department. They demand judgment against the city and Sudduth for $3,700.00, alleging that that amount is due them under a contract for the repair of a boat. Alternatively, they demand judgment for the same amount against those defendants based on quantum meruit...
