Plaintiffs seek judgment for $866,166.97, with interest, for refund of alleged overpayments of federal income tax and assessed interest for taxable years 1959, 1960, 1961 and 1962. They paid the amounts of tax as computed on their returns for such years, and also the deficiencies and interest, as assessed or determined by the Internal Revenue Service; timely filed claims for refund for those years, which...
