After pleading guilty in the circuit court of Cook County on May 15, 1972, to an indictment charging attempted rape, Mose Dudley, the defendant, was sentenced to a term of from 3 to 8 years. On appeal (15 Ill.App.3d 18) the appellate court affirmed the conviction but reduced the defendant's sentence to a term of 2 years and 8 months to conform...
