This is a workmen's compensation suit wherein plaintiff, Lyle A. Toomer, seeks total and permanent disability benefits resulting from an accident sustained by him on May 27, 1971, while he was employed by defendant, Prestressed Concrete Products Company, Inc. The defendant's workmen's compensation insurer, Highlands Insurance Company, paid compensation benefits to plaintiff at the rate of $49 per week for eleven weeks beginning on the date of the accident...
