The two appellants were charged by information with having urged a riot and with having urged others to commit acts of violence by destroying property, in violation of Ark.Stat.Ann. § 41-1445 (Supp. 1973). After a long trial both defendants were found guilty, the jury fixing Chapman's punishment at a $500 fine and three years' confinement and Pearson's punishment at a $500 fine.
