Mr. and Mrs. Tillman Scott filed this suit to recover damages for injuries sustained when Mrs. Scott jumped from a second story window during a fire in their apartment building. Defendants are the apartment building owner and his insurer, the real estate firm which managed the property, and the gas company which provided utility service to the building.
