Leroy Whitley and Edward Thompson were indicted for attempt murder, armed robbery and two counts of aggravated battery. After a jury trial, they were acquitted of the attempt murder charge, but convicted of armed robbery and two counts of aggravated battery. Each defendant received concurrent sentences of 15 to 30 years for armed robbery, 4 to 5...
