Defendant Gordon Jenkins, appeals from the judgment on a jury verdict entered by the Circuit Court for Criminal Causes of the City of St. Louis convicting him of the offense of robbery in the first degree by means of a dangerous and deadly weapon, § 560.135, RSMo 1969, V.A.M.S. The defendant, a first offender, was sentenced by the court to twelve years in the penitentiary, § 546.440, RSMo 1969...
