This matter is before me on the defendants' motion to dismiss the causes of action contained in the instant complaint. The plaintiff, Collette Pinon, seeks damages for the death of her son, Larry Crape, who died while he was an inmate at the Fox Lake Correctional Institution; she claims that he was deprived of needed medical care.
