On July 30, 1968, Earl French Cox, Jr., appeared in person and by Mr. Louis B. Meyer, his privately retained counsel, entered a plea of guilty before this Court to a charge of robbing a Goldsboro Bank the deposits of which were insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, in violation of Title 18 U.S.C. § 2113(d).
