In the morning of July 24, 1972, two men robbed a branch office of the Marine Midland Bank in Troy, N. Y., of approximately $33,000; one of them threatened bank employees with a gun. An indictment in the District Court for the Northern District of New York charged that the robbers were appellant Klein and one Peter John Galvin.
