The issue presented in this appeal is whether a directed verdict at the end of plaintiffs' case was proper where the evidence disclosed postsurgical application to Mrs. Walden of an unknown fluid on a part of the skin covered by the adhesive portion of the dressing, a burning sensation, a single initial protestation by Mrs. Walden, and a subsequent infectious reaction to part of the area of application.
