Defendant was arrested and charged with the unlawful use of weapons in violation of Ill. Rev. Stat. 1967, ch. 38, par. 24-1. Prior to trial he filed a motion to suppress evidence, which was denied following a hearing by the court. Jury being waived, the court heard the case and found defendant guilty as charged.
