Plaintiff sought recovery of damages for claimed losses in the sale and purchase of common stock resulting from the alleged negligence of defendant James Larson, a licensed securities broker, and his employer, defendant J. W. Sparks & Co. The jury returned a special verdict finding defendant Larson not negligent and plaintiff contributorily negligent.
