This matter had its genesis in the district court of Boone County, and arose by the filing by the Attorney General of the State of Iowa at the behest of the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners of a petition seeking a permanent injunction against the defendants to enjoin them from filling prescriptions written by nonresident physicians not licensed by the Iowa authorities to prescribe controlled substances.
