Defendant, Truxton K. Field, was tried by jury in the Circuit Court of St. Clair County on an indictment charging him with the crime of murder. He was found guilty and sentenced to the penitentiary for a term of not less than 45 nor more than 90 years. On appeal defendant argues that he was not proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, that the court erred in admitting into evidence defendant...
