We do not find the difficulty in the wording of sec. 940.22, Stats.,1 which Gould does. The legislature created the crime of "aggravated battery" by enactment of ch. 696, sec. 1, Laws of 1955, in the following language, "Whoever intentionally causes great bodily harm to another ...."
