These consolidated actions in admiralty1 were brought as a result of a collision of the Barge EASTERN NO. 2 (the "Barge") and the M/S ANTONIO FERRAZ ("Ferraz") which collision occurred in the early morning of June 11, 1968 at the entrance of Chesapeake Bay off Cape Henry, Virginia.
