LANGTRY, Judge.

This is a workmen's compensation case in which the claim was denied successively by the hearing officer, the Workmen's Compensation Board and the circuit court, each time because it was found that the claim was untimely filed. The question on this appeal is whether the claimant should be allowed to produce additional evidence before the hearing officer concerning the reason he gave, after the hearing, for not filing the claim in the year's time allowed...
