This is a suit in which plaintiff seeks to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by his seventeen year old son, Charles LeBrane. Charles LeBrane received serious injuries to his left arm and hand when he was cut with a knife by James Lewis during an altercation which occurred August 7, 1969, on the premises of the Jack Tar Capitol House Hotel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
