On July 3, 1965, Leslie Kroll was injured and paralyzed from the waist down while operating a forklift truck during the course of his employment. Leslie Kroll, alleging breach of warranty and negligent design, brought suit against the manufacturer of the forklift truck and sought damages of $1,000,000. His wife Louise joined in the suit seeking $750,000 in damages for loss of her husband's services, society...
