This matter is before the court on a petition for habeas corpus filed on August 16, 1972, in which the petitioner, a state prisoner, through his diligent and extremely able court-appointed counsel, raises a substantial legal question regarding a plea of guilty to a murder charge tendered by him on February 3, 1970.
