The plaintiff, Avis Rent-A-Car System, Inc., brought this action in the Court of Common Pleas to enjoin the defendant, Crown High Corporation, from continuing to operate as an Avis licensee in New London, Groton, Clinton and Madison, Connecticut. Both parties moved for summary judgment. After argument on those motions and while they were under consideration by the court, the defendant filed an answer and counterclaim and moved for a default for failure...
