As the result of an intersection collision, plaintiff was injured, claiming injuries to his knee, forehead, concussion and a hernia. The latter injury was seriously disputed. The jury returned a verdict in the sum of $1,000. This amount was patently inadequate as that amount just about equaled plaintiff's special damages and obviously gave no recognition to the residuals of the injuries resulting in a permanent scar on the forehead and a one-half inch atrophy of the left...
