This is an eminent domain proceeding wherein lands were taken by a school district for school purposes. The owner of the lands and his guardian appeal from the denial of a motion for a new trial. Our careful review of the record in response to appellants' claims of errors satisfies us (1) that the evidence is clearly sufficient to support the jury's award of $8,000 for the 8 acres of unimproved land (an increase over the $6,000 awarded by court-appointed...
