PEOPLE v. INGRAM

74 Misc.2d 635 (1973)

The People of the State of New York, Plaintiff, v. Wilson Ingram, Defendant.

Criminal Court of the City of New York, Kings County.

June 28, 1973

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Eugene Gold, District Attorney, for plaintiff. Robert Kasanof and Steven Kronovet for defendant.

HOWARD E. GOLDFLUSS, J.

This is a case of first impression in that the issue is the applicability of the Statute of Limitations to the bail jumping statute (Penal Law, § 215.56 et seq.). The District Attorney of Kings County and counsel for the defendant agree in their respective memoranda that there is no definitive precedent cited in any New York State jurisdiction which meets this issue.
