This case involves a collision in Houston, Texas, between the plaintiffs' car and the defendants' pickup truck.

Ms. Lena Antee, plaintiff below and appellant here, was proceeding north on Austin, a street with one-way traffic, when she slowed to make a right-hand turn on to Bremond, a street with two-way traffic.
