After a joint trial before a jury appellant Joe D. Roberts was convicted on two counts of possessing United States Treasury checks stolen from the mails, knowing them to be stolen, two counts of forging the checks, and two counts of uttering the checks, knowing the endorsements to be forged.1 On appeal Roberts makes numerous contentions none of which entitles him to relief.
