Defendant was convicted by jury verdict of breaking and entering in violation of MCLA 750.110; MSA 28.305. From the trial court's sentence of 2-1/2 to 15 years, defendant appeals as a matter of right. The facts precipitating defendant's conviction may be briefly summarized as follows.
