On March 19, 1959, claimant entered into a contract with the State for the construction of a portion of Prospect Expressway, Fort Hamilton Parkway Interchange in Brooklyn, New York. Work began on March 24, 1959, and the contract provided for a completion date of September 1, 1960. The contract was not completed until September 21, 1964 and accepted by the State on February 1, 1965.
