KEADY, Chief Judge.

This admiralty action was brought by David Lorenzo Oswalt against his employer, Williamson Towing Company, Inc., (Williamson) for personal injuries he sustained while working as a deckhand aboard defendant's towboat, the M/V GREENVILLE, on navigable waters near La Crosse, Wisconsin.

According to the complaint and plaintiff's proof, plaintiff was injured May 27, 1971...
